Our Visit to the Metro Eco Drop
Last week our class had a visit to Metro Eco Drop to learn about worms. We had a beautiful day trip. The expert at the Metro Eco Drop was called Chris. He was very cool and told us lots of facts.
Did you know,
- the worms we use in our worm farms are called Tiger Worms,
- the Tiger Worms have stripes
- worms are covered in little hairs
- worms have no teeth
- worms feel very slimey, they are long and skinny
- some people don't like to hold the worms
- worms have 5 hearts!!!
It was fun going on the trip because we liked going in the vans and seeing the worms.
