Our Best Holiday Moments

Here is our 'Best Holiday Moments' movie. You may need to pause it to read some of our writing... it goes pretty fast. :-)

Football Sessions

This week on Wednesday, Gary from Coastal Football came to Rāwhiti School to teach us some skills.

We learned how to dribble and control the ball. We practised dribbling with our eyes up so we could see other players around us. Together we had heaps of fun!

Our Rāhui Bubble Adventures

Our Rāhui Bubble Adventures

2021 was another extraordinary year! We reflected on our favourite parts of Rāhui. We drew pictures and wrote about them. Some of us shared photos of what our whānau got up to. We invite you to watch our Rāhui movie to see the adventures we had.

Our Trip to the Beach

On Friday we walked to New Brighton Beach. We saw a dead stingray. We could see its mouth and its teeth. I thought I could hear a sea creature.... I think it was a whale but we couldn't see it. We learnt 'No plastics at the beach!' You're not allowed them, otherwise the sea creatures will die like the poor stingray. Put your plastics in the rubbish, you know. Be kind to the whales and the stingrays and the crabs. We are supposed to put our rubbish in the rubbish bin... the nearest one. Hold onto it very tight! If there isn't a rubbish bin, take it home in your car. By Bella

Wig Wednesday

On Wednesday the 15th of September, we had a wig or wacky hair day at school. The aim was to raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation. Everyone had a great time donning their favourite wig, or doing their hair in crazy ways.

Check out our video below to see these silly styles.

Which is your favourite?
